Party in Style

We’ve all seen, maybe even occasionally been her…you know the drunk girl causing a scene in the middle of the dance floor!  Women stare at her in disgust…men stare with curiosity.   Sure she’s having a good time but let’s be clear, the only place the downward dog is acceptable is in a yoga class.   Now I’m no stranger to a good party!  I’ve been known to do my fair share of boot scootin’!  So I’m not saying don’t get drunk and have a good time, just do it in style!  After all we want to be remembered for all the right reasons.

So if you know you’re the type to really bust some moves…forego the tiny mini-skirt/dress with no give.  Perhaps try a knee length dress or skirt that has a percentage of spandex.  This will allow you to do the worm without busting a seam.  Check out these pencil skirts from Torri Bella Boutique!

If these looks seem a little too ‘businessy’ pair the pencil skirt with a crop top!  We have several colors to choose from.  Higher cut tops like these will keep your girls from playing peek-a-boo while you’re twerking.  You won’t have to worry about any nip-slips in any of these tops… Oh and look-a-there…long sleeves!  I don’t know where you live, but it’s going to be in the 20’s here on NYE.

If you’re the type that likes to hold up the wall and drink away your life’s problems…your possibilities are endless!  Any of the dresses below will do!  Just be sure to wear wedges.  You’re less likely to roll your ankle when you stumble to your cab!

Now, I know we’re not open for business yet, but we will be on January 1st, 2014.  This was really just a shameless plug!  Come visit us at www.torribella.comJ

Happy New Years!

Newbie Blogger

I am totally new to the blog scene! To be perfectly honest, I am sort of new to the social media scene entirely!  However, I am determined to self educate and join the blogging community as I have much to say and share.

I am a Torri, stay at home mom of 2, adoring wife and brand new boutique owner!  I decided to launch my own clothing boutique called Torri Bella a long time ago! It's taken over a year of preparation & homework to get here, but I have finally arrived.  I wanted to do something that would give me purpose beyond changing diapers and making PB & J sandwiches.  I've been a long time fan of fashion, however at 6' 1" tall, it isn't always easy to find things that fit.  The initial plan was to make Torri Bella a tall only boutique, but limited resources for 'tall' inventory halted that plan.  So the store will service women of various shapes & sizes (including those with curves) and apparel for the long legged ladies will become available hopefully in the near future.

Where did the name Torri Bella come from?  Torri, coincidentally means tower in Italian (did I mention that I am 6'1"?)  I was born in Vicenza, Italy and named after my mothers favorite place to visit, Torri di Quartesolo.  Torri Bella translates to beautiful towers.  How fitting for store that was initially meant for lengthy ladies.  Even though the stores concept has changed, we're keeping the name...it just has a nice ring to it! ;o)

So, enough about me...check out Torri Bella when we open!  We will be opening next year early Spring with our trendy & contemporary apparel for the young & young at heart.  Stay tuned for the exact date.

Thanks
